I ran a quick test using the same animation exported across 3 formats to compare file size efficiency

2-second animation at 1000×1000:
After Effects (MP4) – 2.1 MB
• 30fps, 15mbps
@LottieFiles (JSON) – 225 KB
• 60fps
@rive_app (RIV) – 152 KB
• 60fps
