@MartinSLewis @itvMLshow Also I have a bank card for Mum's account that I don't use, it's there for when the POA is used. I'm concerned about paying bills in the gap before the POA is active. Could I use it to pay her bills if it was a joint account? Or pay her bills from my account?

@MartinSLewis @itvMLshow I have had a POA for my Mum for about 10 years. I was told the old style POA takes 4 months from notifying before I can use it and that we should cancel it and apply for the newer style is that correct?

@1goodtern A mask kept me safe for 3 years. I caught Covid at a village event where people weren't wearing masks. I probably should have left instead of sitting at the back/away from people. No more events for me.

@MartinSLewis @bbc5live Virgin Atlantic when my passport was stolen mid flight UK to USA. Crew helped search the plane on landing. A staff member escorted me to immigration to see if I would be allowed in, luckily I was. Very stressful as I was on a business trip. Quite a few years ago now.

@Kit_Yates_Maths A mask kept me safe for 3 years. I think that's an excellent success rate. Caught Covid at first larger event I went to where I was the only person wearing a mask out of 80-90 people. Lesson learned - no more big events for me.
