Un approccio non farmacologico per migliorare la qualità del sonno e ridurre la latenza di addormentamento si basa sulla manipolazione degli stimoli ambientali (es:
luce, qualità dell’aria), con una particolare attenzione al ruolo degli stimoli sonori.
Favorire la collaborazione tra ricercatori e professionisti è un passo cruciale per sviluppare approcci integrati che rispondano alle esigenze individuali legate al sonno. Attraverso questa sinergia, si potranno delineare nuovi scenari favorendo il benessere.
Il sonno e l'addormentamento sono temi centrali sia per le scienze della salute che per l'industria del design e il settore medico. Numerosi studi scientifici hanno dimostrato che un sonno di qualità è fondamentale per la salute fisica e mentale/
migliorando la capacità di concentrazione, apprendimento e gestione dello stress. L'integrazione tra le più recenti scoperte mediche e le soluzioni innovative provenienti dal design e dal mondo ospedaliero apre nuove prospettive per migliorare la qualità del sonno e il benessere/
