US Senator @ChrisCoons has introduced a bill with sanctions to punish actors undermining democracy in Sudan. After PM Hamdok was reinstalled after being ousted in a coup last month, @ChrisCoons says he is encouraged by a "lessening of the forward movement of the coup leaders."
