Today's DMGs spend their days signing 3MPO orders for illegal arrests, while posting about their shiny new official vehicles (we learn that a similar one in white has been handed over to the Tehsildar, because it wasn't new enough). These must be the ones the caretaker Punjab govt spent Rs 2 billion on recently.

I had always assumed, and was told that civil servants cannot keep a media profile, and that they are servants of the public.

Clearly, not the case.

But it's the examples they see...

Today, IG Punjab proudly appeared in a self promotion popular TV show, while in the evening re-arresting women finally given bail after 140 days.

Another civil servant seems to be trying his best to cause a civil war between two provinces using publicly available information.

The youngster here can only do what he learns from his seniors. Congratulations Nadeem on the shiny new car!
