@Logosecworte @poperespecter1 @TradAnswers Brother, there’s nothing petty about it. The Pope celebrates the Novus ordo mass. The local bishop celebrates it. Sspx says they are in communion but won’t go to the mass the man with jurisdiction celebrates. This is a massive problem.

There’s an SSPX video too where the priest says you don’t have to go to the new mass & if you can’t get to TLM, you can stay home. This is just not true and a wicked false-teaching.

@Logosecworte @poperespecter1 According to John Salza @TradAnswers (who went to their chapels for a decade) the SSPX discouraged him from going to diocesan latin mass. Not as if discouraging people from going to the Novus ordo mass is a good thing either.

@interject_robot @jarldietrich It really depends on what you mean. A lot of people don’t want to criticize their own group. It’s human nature. But even if we do have some wrong or misguided clergy at times, nobody forces a lay person to use contraception or get an abortion.
