@DavidLloydUK I have raised a discrimination complaint and the way DL have tried to brush it under the rug is shocking.
I’ve been calling the member experience line since 12 yday and nobody ever answers
But the response from Beth Shipway was disappointing and dismissive

It’s been so awkward/ uncomfortable as an adult to attend a gym that has created such a mess regarding my CHILD with additional needs.
But again you continue to take my money without actually addressing my concerns
And I can’t get through via the phone. So what next?

This is something that has been going on since the 12th September…
Staff have lied about my non verbal child to kick him out of the class
General manager has said it’s not her staffs job to read his cues..

My child is the most chilled child has never been aggressive, goes to a mainstream school and is thriving
But staff said he bit a member of staff and left a mark
Evidence was never provided
No incident log.
Then the GM said (post investigation) they THOUGHT he was going to

Said there is a clash in personality between staff and a 4 year old 😅
Continue to take my money with no real address to the issues
As a qualified SENCO I said I’d happily run a session to educate staff for free as they lack confidence with SEN children and provide resources

@HiggsEng I address it in their book. But then, in lesson I’ll go over and say it again and give them a little spelling book/ scrap paper so they know it doesn’t bother me that they doodle. I’m ADHD; I get it. However, I don’t want it in your book. Two lessons later they don’t do it all.

@MissLCG I live 5 mins away from school, so I run home at lunch time to let them out for 20 mins and then head back. If I can’t make it, my mum will pop round for me. It’s not easy because it’s either eat or let the dogs out and I always choose the dogs 😅
