Karnataka bans gutkha & tobacco pan masala for 1 year
The Food Safety Commissioner has prohibited the manufacture, storage, distribution, transportation and sale of gutkha and tobacco/nicotine containing pan masala across Karnataka.
The ban also covers separately packaged tobacco products designed to facilitate mixing. #Karnataka #Bengaluru

There are many similar examples in the United States, where former Presidents and senior politicians continued working in either the public or private sector after leaving office.
But in India, once someone becomes an MP, MLA or even a councillor, not only do they stop working after leaving office, but the next fifteen and half generations of their family do not need to work either, while continuing to live an ultra-luxurious lifestyle.
The only exception that comes to mind is Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. He continued teaching and inspiring students until his last breath. That is precisely why he commands such extraordinary respect
But

So, to exercise your fundamental right to walk on footpath, you've to violate so many people's fundamental rights which itself isn't right.
