It is not enough for Republicans, conservatives, and influencers to simply rail against socialism.
We have to do a better job explaining why it fails and why freedom, opportunity, and personal responsibility produce better outcomes.
It’s not enough to scream “socialism bad” and expect younger voters to automatically agree.
We also need to be honest with ourselves.
The Republican Party must continue developing authentic candidates, quality candidates, and younger candidates who can connect with younger Americans.
Too many young voters see socialism as a ladder to success when history shows it is a slide to the bottom.
The challenge isn’t that we lack good policies.
The challenge is that we are not always communicating those policies effectively to the next generation.
President Trump built one of the most diverse and expansive coalitions in history.
He grew the tent for Republicans, brought in new voters, and reshaped the political map. Without that coalition, the warning signs we saw in several races last night would be far more concerning.
If we’re wondering why some of these trends are emerging in New York and beyond, we need to look in the mirror.
We cannot simply rely on the same playbook forever.
The Republican Party must honor its principles while embracing the NEXT generation of leaders who can carry those principles forward.
If we ignore the warning signs from recent elections, refuse to adapt, and keep recycling the same old playbook, we’re going to learn some hard lessons.
The FUTURE belongs to those willing to build it.
Fox News commentator Mark Levin said on Tuesday the Iran deal would provide Tehran with more funding in a single year than Israel receives in a decade, much of which he said is used to purchase US-made military equipment.
"The Iranian regime will now receive more money from this deal in a single year than Israel receives in 10 years (nearly all of which buys military equipment from American companies). Israel is actively and aggressively focused on complete economic and military independence. It does not want to be treated as a sterling partner in war but a belittled punching bag the rest of the time," Levin posted on X.
"Just listen to what’s said about Israel by Democrats, Woke Reich podcasters, TV hosts, and even some of our friends. I fear we will regret this as we grow closer to countries like Qatar, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan and go down a narrow and dark path," he added.
@nytimes@TheAthleticFC Just another money grab by FIFA and the networks. The game of soccer/football has been played with two 45 minute halves forever. All of a sudden, the players need a break so we can watch commercials.
