Really excited to share the publication of my PhD work at @PLOSCompBiol! We've uncovered some fascinating insights into how mice approach even a seemingly simple reversal learning task, and developed new tools to track their changing behavioral strategies during training.
Hard to imagine a textbook that covers so much of modern probabilistic machine learning. Congratulations @sirbayes, and thank you for making this amazing resource freely available!
Wish there was more support for students from low SES pursuing phds. The best I ever lived before now was section 8. I’ve had it worse. But i get the same amount of help as colleagues who are buying cars and houses with parents money and I’m here stressing about finances erday…
Out in @Nature today, our latest effort at understanding norepinephrine spatiotemporal dynamics during learned behavior. Work done with @gabidrummond24 while I was transitioning from the @surlabmit to my new position @CERVO. https://t.co/vG9sPH3kIt Thread (1/9):
Compiled a list of useful Python-based resources for (mostly rodent) neuroscientists! Open to suggestions for any that I may have missed! https://t.co/7zUyZZg4Be
Just got a paper rejected from @OrganizationSci with some of the best, most developmental reviews I've ever received. Thought this advice from R3 was worth sharing with #AcademicTwitter on how to structure your contribution 💪
Lab webpage is officially online! The lab has just started and we are recruiting. Please get in touch if you're interested in the role of LC/VTA in behaviors while learning 2-photon imaging, electrophysiology and optogenetics. https://t.co/ea1fVSrsd0
This is another exciting part of @SfNtweets this year. I gave an invited talk at @Scientifica_Int 3p event about my research at @SurLabMIT@MIT_Picower. Watch this video if you are interested in the applications of 3p in neuroscience.
