Sometimes things take an totally unexpected turn

Let me tell you a story about #NFTs and destiny in #Web3.

Your most precious NFTs are not only those that shine because of their rarity, but also those that carry with them an adventure, an emotion or a memory.

A few months ago, I fell under the spell of @expedition_pics.

A collection as aesthetic as it is active in the cosmos and beyond.

A work born of the talent of @dollarboy_x and the tireless determination of @Puuf_DeFi .

A project where each NFT is literally a door to adventure. ⚓️

One evening, I finally decided to buy one and Flamingo #535 caught my eye.

(its pink features were a perfect match for my visual identity.)

By the time I transferred my money... too late! Someone was sweeping the entire floor of the collection and had just bought the NFT I wanted. 💀

In the rush, I managed to buy HedgeDoge #613, a gorgeous rare piece from the collection, thinking I'd find a holder willing to swap it for a pink @expedition_pics.

But after several unsuccessful attempts, I finally gave up on the idea.

Until this morning. @Puuf_DeFi put me in touch with Flamingo's new holder #535 @BDE_BOSSS .

That's when the web3 magic began🪄

After a few exchanges on the @expedition_pics discord, 2 people who didn't know each other at all, came to an agreement for an exchange simply because they belonged to the same community and their only motivation was the beauty of art.

And despite the fact that one lives in 🇫🇷 , other comes from 🇦🇺, in 5 minutes we find a trusted third party and our 2 NFTs meet in the 🇨🇿 before landing in our respective wallets.

Magic!!! Simple!!! Instant!!!

Sometimes we forget the beauty of this ecosystem, the freedom it gives us and the power it gives us.

This NFT is finally in my collection.

It's not just a trade.

Every NFT keeps a record of its journey.

Flamingo #535 and HedgeDoge #613 are not just JPEGs, they are pieces of history, witnesses to my own adventure and my connections in the ecosystem.

We were made to meet again.

(And as I promised puuf I'd put it on PFP if I managed to get it, it will proudly represent me for a few days until I get my hands on the #OMies that will become my new visual identity)
