I’m so excited to share this update on @Conception –
We’ve generated the first early human eggs derived from stem cells.
This is a big deal -- the potential to redefine fertility is real.
Excited to share our first red ACh sensor!
We developed GRAB_rACh1h, the first genetically encoded red fluorescent sensor for recording acetylcholine dynamics in vivo. (1/3)
Yes! ASAP7y works well with both conformal immersion microscopy (CIM):

helping to unveil fast dynamics (see video).
Congrats to the ASAP team:

Led by Kyle Daruwalla & Irene Nozal Martin, with contributions from the entire lab.
Early iSOAR 5D movie of membrane and mitochondria dynamics over 3 hrs at 3 min intervals in the head of a zebrafish embryo 6 dpf, covering a 300 x 1000 um FOV at 193 x 193 x 550 nm resolution (0.8 TB total).
Excited to announce our study (w/ @RukmanThota & @MaxKrummel) published today @Nature:
Macrophages “hold our living identities” by taking tiny bites from living cells and presenting this information to CD8 T cells.

I'm genuinely enjoying working on what will be my SnapGene replacement software. Chiseling away toward my freedom is uniquely exciting and I can promise the software will be maintained...bc I'm using it daily. Aiming for a May 24th release date of v1.0.0

Whenever I did retrograde tracing experiments, I would see random astrocytes light up in distant brain areas. I always assumed that was some weird artifact. I guess I should have followed up lol

Imagine every pixel on your screen, streamed live directly from a model. No HTML, no layout engine, no code. Just exactly what you want to see.
@eddiejiao_obj, @drewocarr and I built a prototype to see how this could actually work, and set out to make it real. We're calling it Flipbook. (1/5)
