- Europe has more trains than the US, so they use the train timetable style.
- Trains (often) have many stops. You may not know the train’s last stop, just your stop. A train has one departure time though.
For train-takers who fly rarely in smaller airports, the Europe approach can be easier. If you fly a lot in large airports, the US approach is easier.
