It's a wrap from Delhi!
The past few days have been amazing, had the great honor to be at the Plenary when Prime Minister @narendramodi addressed world AI leaders. His message was simple and powerful: AI must scale responsibly and inclusively, not just quickly.
One research talk that really stayed with me was Prof. @SuryaGanguli's session on Digital Twins. The idea of building mirrored systems and feedback control loops for AI felt very aligned with what weโve been building at @fiddler_ai: explainability, observability, and making AI systems accountable in real time.
As AI moves from models to autonomous agents, you need Visibility, Context, and Control.
Grateful to be part of these conversations at such an important moment for India and for AI globally. Some moments from our trip! cc @mainak
Dhanyawad India! ๐ฎ๐ณ ๐
@JayaGup10 Understand the sentiment (and I have been enterprise CXO) but feels like similar reactions when excel (calculator/ slide rule) or word (Olivetti typewriter) arrived.
@JayaGup10 Indeed!! The scariest thing about AI careers isnโt that jobs disappear. Itโs that the half-life of being โwell-positionedโ is shrinking. The new moat isnโt expertise. Itโs metabolizing new expertise faster than your identity can get attached to the old one.
@joybhattacharj Plus, in a league defined by rapid auction cycles, shifting allegiances, and volatile player form, Kolkata Knight Riders' success is anchored by one enduring constant: Sunil Narine. He is quintessential IPL player and icon.
@joybhattacharj He also has the Most 'Player of the Tournament' (MVP) Awards: Narine stands alone at the summit of individual IPL accolades. He holds the record for the most MVP awards in the league's history, having secured the honor three times (2012, 2018, and 2024).
@archiexzzz This absolutely wrong headed from Nilekani. The idea that India would benefit from leveraging AI applications like IT which was ๐ฏ labor arbitrage - is ill informed. AI is not IT. And frontier models are in early daysโฆwhy would India stay away?? Incredible.
@nileshtrivedi@NandanNilekani This is a terrible take from @nandannilekani. AI is not IT and IT leverage is gone. Itโs early days with frontier models and surprised at this conclusion.
