This is my last tweet before I lock the account. I've been reluctant for various reasons, but what you see in this picture is the final straw. Fuck Elon Musk and any other NAZI scum trying to ruin my country. You can find me on BlueSky.

College grads have been “prolentarianized": Universities minted too many knowledge workers, and now they're working at Starbucks in unprecedented numbers.
This is a popular narrative. But it isn't quite right.
In truth, recent college grads today are *more* likely to hold a job that requires a degree -- and *less* likely to have a low-wage service job -- than they were in the mid-1990s

@GeneralMCNews If so, that's a violation of the H1B law. I'm sure Musk figures such laws don't apply to him, and indeed, he probably is above the law. But it's disgusting just the same.
@RpsAgainstTrump Not one of these people knows how to make the YMCA arm positions, and I bet not one of them know the song is an anthem for 70s gay culture.
@HumanBeing97568 @RachelBitecofer Ben Smith is a quack. That thread is promised on something that isn't true, which is the idea that jealthcare providers make more money on sick people than they do when the focus is on wellness.
@bensmithlive Those is how we know you are peddling conspiracies. It is far more profitable to keep a patient healthy than to treat them when they are sick. If you actually knew anything about healthcare, you'd know that the emphasis is on wellness, prevention, and active health maintenance.
Musk's "efficiency" project is a bigger question. Is Congress going to allow one of the largest govt contractors to head a new department? Will it sit outside or above public agencies? As we learned in Russia, privatization is often little more than creating unaccountable power.
NEW -- Former Rep. TULSI GABBARD (D-Hawaii) is in the mix to be named director of national intelligence, according to a source familiar. This is a Senate confirmed position.
GABBARD served in the House as a Democrat from 2013-2021.
@NotoriousVOG@EdforBoston "Boston's not like a lot of other cities. It's an old city with very narrow streets."
Yes indeed, Boston's streets are not designed for cars. Too many cars are the problem, not bikes and pedestrians.
@EdforBoston Looks like the problem in that picture is over sized delivery trucks trying to unload during peak commute hour. Restrict the trucks by size and timing, and your perceived issues will vanish.
