I’m no supporter of Donald Trump, but I’ll give him this: he’s held up a mirror to society and revealed just how many people put hatred, bigotry, and self-interest above compassion and decency. What shocks me most is how many now wear it proudly.
The U.S is losing a war.
Gas prices are up 50%.
Interest rates are nearing 20-year highs.
Inflation remains elevated.
Budget deficits are nearly $2 trillion
Trump is declaring trade wars on allies.
ICE is killing Americans.
Corruption is rampant.
Meanwhile, in the U.S. Senate:
Crush the arts (Kennedy Center), destroy the civil service (DOGE), control elections (gestures broadly), dismantle the press (gestures more broadly), decimate science (NIH), and demolish education (DeptEd). The authoritarian playbook.
Breast cancer patients shouldn’t be denied hope of a new lifesaving treatment because Russ Vought thinks women’s health research is woke.
I will fight this plan tooth and nail.
MAGA Republicans are always screaming about “men in women’s sports” and “Sharia law” because they can’t talk about gas, groceries, healthcare, housing, childcare, education, the Iran war, or the Epstein files.
Culture war bullshit is all they have because they’re fucking terrible at everything else.
Take the number of women who’ve ever been affected, in any way, by trans women in sports, quadruple it, and it would STILL be less than the number of women who’ve died from preventable ectopic pregnancies in states that have banned abortions.
The people sending masked agents into the streets to round up foes, taking government stakes in companies, arbitrarily punishing businesses with tariffs/threats, and handing out cash bribes to voters to win elections are VERY concerned about creeping "socialism" in America.
Serious question to every mainstream news network and newspaper in this country: how can you justify crazy obsessive coverage of Hasan Piker and just totally ignore much worse stuff like this from an actual presidential adviser?
@VP Stand on your own conscience… unless your conscience is against unnecessary wars and foreign aid, covering up for pedophiles, record deficits, and excessive spending.
In those cases, the party demands you disregard your conscience and “trust the plan.”
The United States in 2026:
- Spend your week's wages to buy groceries.
- Get salmonella poisoning from the food you bought.
- Go to the doctor without insurance.
- In debt for the rest of your life.
But, you know, MAHA.
