It is always better to have clarity: Too many people want what Donald Trump has to offer. It will not serve them well. But the battle lines have been explicitly redrawn. Fascism is here and we have to confront it head-on.

The thing about leopards is eventually they will eat you too.
Your favorite local restaurant closing because the nice family who owns it getting deported. You thought they were some of the “good ones.” The price of produce skyrocketing even before the camps are built as immigrants flee. Your daughter dying of sepsis because the lawyers feel it’s too risky to perform that D&C.
No more FAFSA for your kids college because you didn’t know that was part of the Department of Education. Veterans having their benefits cut because they rolled back the PACT Act as too expensive. That factory in town that was going to build chips and employ your kids never breaking ground because of the repeal of the CHIPs act. The bridge that was going to cut your commute in half being canceled because of the repeal of the Infrastructure Act.
That sweet government job that you’ve loved because you can work 8 hours a day and fish on the weekends has been slated for a MAGA Schedule F slot because it controls funding for contracts that will go to Republican donors, so you’re fired without cause or any union protections.
You’ll blame Biden or the local Democrats probably. But it will be fine because Elon promised it would be uncomfortable at first but it will get better. You were just so sure it would be uncomfortable for…you know…”those people.” Not you.
But that’s leopards for you. They eat whatever is available.
Donald Trump has said (sometimes) that he would veto an abortion ban if Congress passes one. But if we see a national abortion ban, it won't come from Congress--and a Trump win alone could make it possible. Here's my latest with Reva Siegel in @politico: https://t.co/46W74pRkkY
Please tune out everything you see on this hellscape platform about voting "problems" in swing states. This is LIKELY to be disinformation intended to suppress voting and support the Trump campaign's election fraud claims
Reva Siegel and I are honored by this symposium on our forthcoming article in @YaleLJournal, Comstockery, in the BU L Rev. Check out this brilliant take by @LauraPortuondo, and coming contributions by @dorfonlaw, @RRebouche, @dsc250, and Scott Cummings:

The Washington Post and The New York Times could not be bothered to gather the same outrage over Donald’s call for Liz Cheney to be put in front of a firing squad as they did over whether or not Joe Biden call Donald’s supporters garbage.
🚨NEW: Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes has announced she is opening an investigation into Donald Trump for his comments inciting violence against Liz Cheney.
RETWEET to thank @KrisMayes for holding Trump accountable!
WOW. @wendydavis just told @NicolleDWallace that white women are now 50/50 for the FIRST TIME. I was hoping we'd get 44%. If we can pull out a majority, that's game over. (NOTE: It's still embarrassingly low)
🚨🚨🚨🚨 Heads up, Philadelphia!!! 🚨🚨🚨🚨
Almost 4000 flawed ballots have been found in Philadelphia.
Election workers held a press conference and are urging folks to scan the QR code to make sure that you didn't fill one out.
They outline the steps to take if your name is on the list.
1. With less than a week to go before Election Day, let’s talk about expectations, specifically the common expectation that this shouldn’t be a close race.
From the 1960s to the present, both Democratic and Republican Parties have struggled to reach “a monolithic ‘Latino vote’ that does not actually exist.” Historian @DrMikeAmezcua delves into this story in #AHAPerspectives. https://t.co/8QAB4ATteI
RETWEET this. Every day. Until Election Day.
Anyone anywhere in America who tells you Donald Trump will be better for the economy needs this tweeted at them IMMEDIATELY.
@EllenBarkin Maybe GOP Republicans in #Pennsylvania can explain why Trump is holding his MAGA hate rally at Madison Square Garden tonight, on the 6th anniversary of the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting in #Pittsburgh where 11 Jewish people were murdered?
