@MPelletierCIO Interesting. I was in Orlando last week... We commented on how the prices at the grocery store were virtually the same as in Alberta; except they were in US dollars
@MPelletierCIO Labour.
I've been in new home construction for 32 years.
On one of recent trips to Puerto Vallarta, I visited with an HVAC engineer. The hourly wage our HVAC contractor pays his skilled staff is more per hour than Mexican HVAC Engineer is paid for a full day.
@LandryLuc4@VanIsleInvestor@ericnuttall FCF yield is calculated by taking the total FCF divided by the market cap at the current stock price.
At $60 oil, BTE has $200 million in FCF. At $2.30 share price, with 768,733,000 shares, BTE has an 11.3% FCF yield
@LandryLuc4@VanIsleInvestor@ericnuttall I don't understand his comment of 1% FCF yield at $60. Thought it'd be higher. If oil stays at $60 for the rest of the year, they'll have $200 million in FCF.
At 148,000 bpd, for the last 3 quarters of the year, every dollar above $60 is an additional $40 million in FCF
@Energy_Tidbits It's just another tax on the low & middle income families to offset his "economic " plan.
The tariffs get collected by the government.... And the people that voted him in are paying the price.
What a shame
@News_Drunk@laurenngzzz@sohaibab9@TroyMclure22 I'm not sure how to answer that question about TMX.
Last I heard the federal government still owned the pipeline.... There was talk of them selling it off to indigenous groups
@sohaibab9@News_Drunk@TroyMclure22 A friend of mine who is very well versed explained to me that under the Hague accords if Alberta were were an independent country, we would have more legal rights to run a pipeline to Tidewater than we do as a member of the Confederacy.
