#ANursesVoice Having adequate ancillary support is imperative to nurses being able to sustain this profession. Hiring break nurses, LVNs, CNAs, lift teams, transport teams will help nurses be able to do the work they signed up to do.

Unlike some other professions in healthcare, we signed up to be WITH patients 12 hours a day. Unless we are positioned to provide SAFE patient care, nurses will continue to leave at alarming rates. #ANursesVoice

Home health and Hospice nurses are leaving because of the ridiculous amount of charting required by Medicare. You spend all day traveling to see patients and then come home to do hours of charting (unpaid). #ANursesVoice
