@CI3310Mejia I agree with your statement Marilyn, but I also believe that the school districts must first realize what equity means so they can then give each school the amount of funding they deserve. Once they happens school can individually become more equitable for their students.

@clower_zoe I agree that sticking to only one of the main philosophies takes the variety of learning away from students and can be very challenging for the student not only in the classroom, but also in the future. Each philosophy has its pros and cons so interpreting them together is best.

@afishertxst Hi Allyson! I think it is really important to protect our learning environment. As teachers, we control the way our classroom environment is and it is our job to make sure it a fair and safe place for students to be able to feel comfortable enough to learn.

@txst_cameron Hi Cameron! As future teachers we have to be open to making accommodations for our students so that the classroom is a safe learning environment for everyone, and so everyone feels secure enough to learn and participate. Students cannot learn if they do not feel safe.

The accounts I’m following seem to all have the same purpose, to reach out and connect with teacher around the world. They provide articles about injustices, tweet inspirational quotes, and also share interactive lessons and tips that can be used in the classroom. #3310TXST

They also seem to be rather active with their tweets and retweets. I see that they not only share advice but ask others for advice in return. All in all, the accounts I follow seem to have a true passion for education and creating a safe space for educators to connect. #3310TXST

@JazminGDreams Hi Jazmin, yeah I totally agree! Schools need to step outside of their bubble of strict curriculum and standardized testing. A solid curriculum can still be upheld, but just implemented in different ways!

The purpose of schools is to educate the future, but our society is constantly changing so our curriculum should follow along with current events to help prepare students for the real world and allow them to have an abundance of knowledge. #3310TXST
