Beyond his talents as an actor, Amos took on groundbreaking roles in Roots, Coming to America, and many other memorable films and shows. He was also a trailblazer, advocating for authentic Black representation in Hollywood throughout his career.

As we reflect on his extraordinary contributions to entertainment and culture, our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones. Rest in power.
