The world's largest tree was wrapped in foil to protect it from California wildfires. "General Sherman" is 2,500 years old and 275 feet tall.
A wildfire last year killed about 10,000 sequoia trees, some thousands of years old. Now the Colony fire is threatening 2,000 more.
Banning "fossil advertising" is of course a good start. But if we are to avoid the worst consequences of the climate crisis we cannot just strive to be "fossil free", but free from all greenhouse gas intense practices.

The @G20 ministers talk about 'the 100 Billion' as if it is a one off payment to be delivered now! It was pledged as an annual amount every year from 2020 onwards. It was NOT delivered in 2020 so that has to be delivered first and ANOTHER 100 Billion is now due for 2021!
