Mathematics is the queen of the sciences and number theory is the queen of mathematics. She often condescends to render service to astronomy and other natural sciences, but in all relations she merits the first rank.

Human-robot symbiosis:Cyborg on the road
Look at this bionic leg implanted in the human body 🦿, it's like a cyborg with a prosthetic limb in a cyberpunk movie.
This is the work of Professor Hugh Herr and his team at MIT: an "Osteointegrated Mechanical Neuroprosthetic System (OMP)" that integrates brain nerves, muscles, neural interfaces, bones, and robotic control.
At the heart of the OMP is a surgical technique called an excitatory-antagonistic muscle-neural interface (AMI). Typically, during amputation surgery, muscle pairs are severed, preventing the brain from receiving motor feedback. AMI surgery reconnects the muscle pairs, preserving their communication, allowing the residual limb to continue generating coordinated movement and neural signals.
Simply put, past bionic legs were worn on the residual limb, controlled by the residual limb's electromyographic signals, but this often resulted in severe delays and stiffness. Hugh Herr's approach involves implanting a robotic leg into the residual limb, making it an integral part of the body, and directly controlling the prosthesis through brain neural signals, helping people with disabilities truly regain the ability to walk naturally.
This is also what we have repeatedly shared: humanoid robot legs and hands can be shared with humans. As Elon mentioned at a Neuralink conference, Optimus's hands and legs can also serve as prostheses for those in need; Neuralink has already experimented with implanting them into BCIs. The feasibility of controlling robots. 🦾🧠🦿 (Elon's company is wonderfully merging together)
In a sense, humanoid robot manufacturers are ultimately building a silicon-based life form that can truly integrate with humans.
The boundaries between nature and robots, as well as biomimetic synthesis, are blurring.

I am giving a big Chinese tech company a tour of CES this year. First time I have given 20 nerds from China a tour.
This was our favorite thing on the show floor.
