@deck2349@uxixu@ClayTravis I like the troll quotes on athletes. You enjoy a game that lets a 5’7” Messi dominate at GOAT level. Our own issues re: soccer would hurt him back at age 10 due to his size, which is an issue. But to say NFL WRs are lesser “athletes” is dumb. Lots of fast guys watching on tv.
@mke_buckle@MilwaukeeMeade I didn’t believe any rational human being would give two craps about Nick Wright’s opinion. Overhated? He makes Skip Bayless sound like Nostradamus. He and Whitlock should have a show and the first to make a legit non biased point wins. Show would last longer than Seinfeld
@MiamiDom_@unclelukereal1 100% this. This is third cousin twice removed level similarity. I don’t care for the Pats but this is a race baiting comment that really is a Dolphins fan hoping they fire Vrabel.
@skf727@JeffLuxury@davidpollack47 He’s still an apprentice to Meyer. His clown act hasn’t yielded titles. He also didn’t have health issues when Saban was owning him.
@NotreDame_CSG@WerderEdNFL I sure will. If the SEC and B1G agree on something, it happens. If it’s ND being a forced participant happens…beat that chest!!! Another caveat for ND. We will see
@STLewis19@Drew11USF@WerderEdNFL Dude, I’m not so invested here. My quick google said 50 from NBC and 17 as part of the ACC deal. That has zero consideration to playoff money, etc. My entire point is the delta isn’t so great that ND would piss away a conference affiliation that could have gotten them in.
@ianmSC@ETBrowning01 Tssk tssk if a team does everything in their power to avoid a 13th data point, that invalidates all of them. I hate Bama but Notre Dame has zero right to even whisper about conference championship games. Bama could lose by 200 and it not matter. ND set that precedence.
@Evans_RB @BearFlagFan@slmandel@NDFootball To maybe play Vandy, TX, etc and dump truck them to prove a point as opposed to quitting? A month of extra practice and a fun trip for the players? No, let’s act like it’s still 1965 and college football is regional and ND is the only national brand. Everyone is national now.
@STLewis19@Drew11USF@WerderEdNFL Good point, but their TV money (50mil plus around 17 from ACC) ain’t a lot different from South Carolina’s share with SEC. Sure they get to keep the money. But a share every year, most importantly this one is better than zero.
@BradPowers7@jackmac But the boss has suggested they join a department and hell, even lets them choose it. Other departments require an extra task to be considered done. ND declines then wants to criticize peers work with that task. Get in a department or STFU about results from your peers in them
@Drew11USF@WerderEdNFL You are stretching to say the top 4 thing was a ND influence. B1G and SEC wanted it done so it happened. Notre Dame is just another really solid football school now. The brand doesn’t resonate now that EVERY game is on TV.
@TheTomDevlin@NicoleAuerbach I personally don’t get the Bama vitriol. I can’t stand Bama, but Notre Dame has taken every step to ensure they only play 12 games. That basically eliminates a 13th for others from a head to head comp. 100-0 or 0-100 doesn’t matter in a game ND says they are too good for.
@buddyenright@Mekline_Bets@Re2pectsport Data point doesn’t count for ND. If they are so special they don’t need it (results of a conf title game), it can’t penalize others. Only 12 games count in a ND discussion
@BaronBeret@Mekline_Bets@Re2pectsport That game is irrelevant to ND. They will never play in one so their contemporaries should not be judged on those results. Big friggin whoop on a data point they are so proud to never have.
@albright_a89238 @Mekline_Bets@Re2pectsport Totally irrelevant. ND played 12 games, you compare Bama’s 12. I hate Bama but they could lose 100-0 and should not be jumped by a team that chooses to sit at home on purpose during those extra games.
