Our own issues re: soccer would hurt him back at age 10 due to his size, which is an issue. But to say NFL WRs are lesser “athletes” is dumb. Lots of fast guys watching on tv.

That has zero consideration to playoff money, etc. My entire point is the delta isn’t so great that ND would piss away a conference affiliation that could have gotten them in.

@ianmSC @ETBrowning01 Tssk tssk if a team does everything in their power to avoid a 13th data point, that invalidates all of them. I hate Bama but Notre Dame has zero right to even whisper about conference championship games. Bama could lose by 200 and it not matter. ND set that precedence.

@Drew11USF @WerderEdNFL You are stretching to say the top 4 thing was a ND influence. B1G and SEC wanted it done so it happened. Notre Dame is just another really solid football school now. The brand doesn’t resonate now that EVERY game is on TV.

@TheTomDevlin @NicoleAuerbach I personally don’t get the Bama vitriol. I can’t stand Bama, but Notre Dame has taken every step to ensure they only play 12 games. That basically eliminates a 13th for others from a head to head comp. 100-0 or 0-100 doesn’t matter in a game ND says they are too good for.
