So my team at MongoDB now has _four_ openings instead of two. No is leaving, we just need more people! JD is at https://t.co/ZDmSwy4t6s. You can email me if you have questions.
@xhable Google's approach makes sense when you realize that their problem is not finding good people, it's reducing the firehose of incoming applications. A totally artificial exercise is fine as long as it rules out a bunch of people. I'd prefer a lottery, but I'm not in charge there ;)
It's time for me to get a job. If you know of anything that's a good fit for me, I'd love to know about it. I have a TLDR of what I'm looking for at the top of this post.
If you want to hear about how my first two interviews went, that's in here too.

If you're wondering why I'm repeating this, someone requested I tweet something that had a summary of what I want so folks don't have to click through to my blog for any info. Makes sense.
I'm looking for a senior+ role at a tech company and I'd love to do Rust. But I'm open to anything besides Java and PHP.
100% remote.
Open to management as long as it includes IC work.
High TC and PTO _or_ 4 day week a must.
