🚫 WHO FCTC urges governments to prohibit ingredients that increase product attractiveness and palatability — like flavours and sweeteners.
These additives are designed to hook youth and mask the harm. It's time to act.

Regulation is just the start.
We need bold action:
✅ Ban flavours
✅ Plain packaging
✅ No youth-targeted design
✅ End influencer marketing
Let’s protect our children and the future generations from addiction.

Things are often not quite as they seem.
✖️The tobacco industries project themselves as champions of good well-being, economic growth, and environmental sustainability.
This sounds good, right? But let's examine this closely:
While they're keeping up the appearance of making commendable commitments, the fact is that it is still business as usual: Producing & promoting a product that is responsible for the deaths of over 8 million people every year.
Is that in line with Goal 3⚕️💚 - Good Health & Well-being?
🎭This is the duplicity we face: An industry pledging support to global goals, while their core product works directly against them.💀
👉We must hold these corporations accountable and shut the door on any lies they spread about being responsible corporate citizens.
It's time we saw through the smokescreen. It’s time to clear the air - together.

There are no safe tobacco products. The smoke from a hookah still contains high levels of toxic chemicals, and hookah smoking delivers the addictive drug nicotine. Nicotine can change the way the brain works, causing cravings for more of it. https://t.co/wtLSj06JMm
Smoking among youth remains prevalent and is increasing in certain nations. Worldwide, an estimated 38 million boys and girls aged 13–15 consume tobacco products, according to WHO.
