God sent His son Jesus to die for the sins of the world. Salvation is available to all, but you have to accept Him first.
Accept Jesus today. Tomorrow may be too late, for there is no other name given by which men can be saved. If you want to accept Jesus, say this short prayer:
I experienced what @Sisi_Yemmie has been saying here on the TL today!
I was coming back from an outing and decided to get a few items from Bokku Mart.
I bought only 3 items. The attendant asked if I wanted a nylon bag and I said yes.
He said the bag was #100. But why did he deduct #1700 for the nylon?
I didn’t check the receipt until I got into the car, then I remembered and decided to check.
I went back inside and asked what the #1700 was for. He said it was an error and that I had to wait for the supervisor to fix it!
This pissed me off! He could simply have given me my change instead of making me wait for their error.
Apparently the supervisor was in on it too. He came out and quickly asked the guy to give me my change.
I can’t imagine how long this has been going on! @bokkumart, call your staff to order.
Business owners, please be very involved in your business and don’t trust any staff.
#1700 is not a lot of money but imagine doing this to 5-10 customers a day!
Good morning @DONJAZZY
Months ago, you gave a young man 20M naira to disburse laptops. He didn't, nor has he provided accountability for that money, which is public funds.
That's the subpoint of this tweet.
The main point is that, he stands to implicate you in the future.
What you may or may not know is:
The young man solicited sensitive data like NIN from thousands of potential beneficiaries he lured under an application system trap - for laptops he didn't disburse. Members of his committee too have, consequently, been public touted as fraudulent.
Hundreds of crimes are committed monthly with NIN. Should one of the unsuspecting applicants have their data used in a crime in the future, one can make a case that you funded him to fish private data from the unsuspecting public.
A case can concurrently be made that it is impossible for you not to know his application request system or possible distribution apparatus before dumping 20M before him.
Ideally, you should demand that he publicly accounts for the money - and should you decide to prepare a legal contingency, that's entirely your prerogative. For posterity sake, I have just executed my duty as Twitter's unappointed class captain.
They will not turn your good into evil inside your hand o.
@ABUJAPLUG You are 43 but looking for a 37 man who isn't a gold digger, financially stable 😂😂😂
So a financially stable, God fearing man at 37 will leave all the younger women out there to pick a 43 years old woman?😂😂😂
Aswear down you go reach 50 single.
They said I should subscribe for a blue tick to increase my visibility, so I did. Yet the last time I sold eggs or got any patronage here was over two years ago. I post, I advertise, I even beg, but still no sales.
Meanwhile, every 27th of the month, the landlord quietly collects his 7,600 subscription fee. Whether business comes or not, owo alaru a pe.
Oga ta, Oga o ta. Owo alaru a pe.
At this point, if I cancel the subscription, maybe all of us will finally rest. 😄😂
I dey chop Below minimum earnings every two weeks.
Abeg make una buy eggs from me naw.
6,000 per crate
Repost if this pop up on your TL 🙏 please 🥺
One of the reasons why Frank Edoho don’t want Cutie Jules to release the story is because it will expose his past deeds with his first wife and a lot that happened in the past would come to light, because Majority of X users don’t even know that Frank Edoho was married twice and divorced twice, that’s why their ignorance stinks so much when I posted about his first wife “Katherine Obiang”.
I wasn’t shock back in 2022 when he became very active here and join football banters I knew a day would come when the world would know about his previous marriage and how he allowed it to crash by his own doings, he wanted that new marriage to work so hard that’s why he was working overtime to impress her and he forgot one thing “Those you cheat to be with them, will also cheat to be with other people “ and that’s where chike comes in 🤭.
The God Katherine Obiang served took 13yrs but it served the menu
There was an ambush on the Nigerian military late yesterday night in sokoto and my cousin whose wedding was a few weeks from today lost her fiancée. Officers lost their lives and there’s nothing about it online.
Listen Anyone who earns a university degree should be celebrated. Nigerian public universities can be hell. Depending on your generation, lecturers worked hard to kill you off. Out of 100 in our class, only 17 managed to graduate. That was in 1979. The Nigerian public university system, like most systems is broken beyond repair. Has been broken for a very long time.🚶🏿♂️
The dysfunctions in Nigeria’s tertiary education system predate this generation. By the time we graduated from University of Benin in the ‘70’s, toilets were overflowing, students were squatting in rooms meant for two, and university lecturers were mean arbiters of our fate. There was little or no accountability.
My grades were mediocre but I got into graduate schools in America and the UK. At the time, the western institutions knew that many Nigerian lecturers are sadists and an E is equivalent to an American B, lol. Even in my time, life was hell for the Nigerian student. I could tell you stories. Na today?
Listen, my pikin. You probably didn’t deserve that poor grade. Your lecturers are paid to make sure you understand what is being taught. They should be trained to try their hardest to impart real knowledge to you. Stockholm syndrome is blaming yourself for being abused by a hellish system.
I will share my UniBen transcripts one day. Not one A. My grades were mediocre. Life in Nigeria’s universities was hell. Mean teachers who wanted inappropriate things in exchange for good grades. And that was 1979. America told me I am not the dolt that my transcripts advertised.
If young Nigerians only knew what that country is doing to them, they would not be berating themselves for getting a second class lower (!) and not getting jobs, they would rise against their oppressors. Even in 1979, the university system tried to tell me that I am dumb.
My first semester in the US, I got so many A’s I wept tears of gratitude. I did not understand why my lecturers were warm accommodating human beings. I was used to demons berating us, undermining us and sexually assaulting my peers. Apparently, the situation has only gotten worse since 1979.
Embarrassed to say this, but I tell young people, Nigeria is not worth the stress, if you can, leave, just leave Nigeria. Nigeria kills dreams. Take your 3rd class and leave, you will find that in another country, you will be celebrated as a human being. That alone is worth it.🚶🏿♂️
And, yes, I retired from an American educational system after 31 years of service. I can proudly say that 90 percent of all the teachers that taught me in Nigeria would have been fired by my American employers. Some would have gone to jail for child abuse and sexual assault. Yes.
Brother, God will have mercy on you and save your soul.
I equally pray for the hundreds of people you pastor that they will obtain mercy and encounter the truth of God’s word.
@Miankyy@__totustuus Her family got her deported by trying to get me deported with false DV accusations that was investigated by social services who found it to be false and it backfired. She’s in Lagos, in her father’s house.
This was the Manager that taught me empathy and paying people their worth at Microsoft.
Mind you, I had not worked more than 3 years professionally as a software engineer, but even after initial agreements, she came back and said, "I increased the suggested gross salary."
I wasn't a Senior person or anything o, but she probably contemplated a few post-interview and said, "nah, let me increase this."
If you like, allow one man from Akungba to make you not see your worth!
I received this DM and it broke my heart. 💔
Why are we wicked in this country?
@fidelitybankplc which of your staff member from Broadstreet branch die recently, because she was denied her rights to go on sick leave.
What you people are living in Nigeria, is it life?
This was at Goldman Sachs Recruitment Day in 2019, at Victoria Island, Lagos (similar to Shell's Recruitment Day).
I didn't make the cut then because there were badder guys from UNILAG, OAU and co, who were and are witches and wizards in coding.
Anyway, my team came second overall and I used sweet mouth to present our technical solution.
This was Goldman Sachs o, able to assemble at least 200 bad guys within Lagos (the picture doesn't show the full hall, which is quite sizeable).
But one bros who knows the local ecosystem more than oyinbo said we don't have world-class talent.
Anyway, most people in this picture had sponsored flight and relocation benefits to the UK and other countries shortly after this picture was taken.
However, you still have people like this within Nigeria's shores.
From my inbox,
This is an offer letter from a top insurance company to a sales person with a BSc.
Monthly pay is 40K
And the person may be required to work on weekends.
I'm just sad.
God will continue to expose them. Nyesom Wike exposes Channels TV as a corrupt entity after confirming of gifting every staff a plot of land in the FCT. Chamberlain Asoh, Seun Okinbaloye, Mope and others pretending to be against corruption are part of the corruption. No wonder
