Cet après-midi à Bamako, la communauté rwandaise établie au Mali a célébré le 32e anniversaire de la Libération du Rwanda #Kwibohora32, en présence de représentants du Gouvernement malien, du corps diplomatique, des organisations internationales ainsi que d'amis du Rwanda.

Représentant le Gouvernement de la République du Mali, Mme Traoré Assiata Gaye, Conseillère technique au Ministère des Affaires étrangères et de la Coopération internationale, a transmis les chaleureuses félicitations du peuple et du Gouvernement maliens au peuple rwandais à l'occasion de cette commémoration. Elle a salué le parcours exceptionnel du Rwanda depuis la Libération, mettant en avant les progrès remarquables accomplis en matière d'unité nationale, de paix, de bonne gouvernance et de développement socio-économique. Elle s'est également réjouie de l'excellence des relations entre le Mali et le Rwanda, fondées sur une vision commune de dirigeants déterminés à promouvoir des solutions africaines aux défis du continent et à renforcer la coopération Sud-Sud.

Prenant la parole au nom de la communauté rwandaise, la Présidente de la diaspora, Mme Alida Faraya, a rendu un hommage appuyé aux femmes et aux hommes qui ont porté la lutte de Libération avec courage, patriotisme et esprit de sacrifice. Elle a souligné que leur engagement continue d'inspirer les générations présentes et futures, rappelant que les valeurs de résilience, d'unité et de responsabilité qui ont guidé la Libération demeurent le socle sur lequel le Rwanda poursuit son ambition de bâtir une nation prospère, inclusive et tournée vers l'avenir.

This afternoon in Bamako, the Rwandan community in Mali commemorated the 32nd Anniversary of Rwanda's Liberation #Kwibohora32, in the presence of representatives of the Government of Mali, members of the diplomatic corps, international organizations, and friends of Rwanda.

Representing the Government of the Republic of Mali, Ms. Traoré Assiata Gaye, Adviser in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, conveyed the warm congratulations of the People and Malian Government to Rwanda on this significant occasion. She commended the remarkable transformation Rwanda has achieved since its Liberation, highlighting the country's outstanding progress in national unity, peace, good governance, and socio-economic development. She further welcomed the excellent state of bilateral relations between Mali and Rwanda, emphasizing the shared vision of the two countries' leaders to advance African-led solutions to the continent's challenges and strengthen South-South cooperation.

Speaking on behalf of the Rwandan community, the President of the Rwandan Diaspora in Mali, Ms. Alida Faraya, paid tribute to the women and men whose courage, patriotism, and selfless sacrifice made Rwanda's Liberation possible. She noted that their legacy continues to inspire present and future generations, underscoring that the values of resilience, unity, accountability, and service that guided the Liberation remain the foundation of Rwanda's continued journey toward prosperity, dignity, and sustainable development.

@RwandaInCzechia was honoured to commemorate the 32nd Anniversary of Rwanda's Liberation together with members of the diplomatic corps representing more than 30 countries, the Rwandan community, business leaders, students and friends of Rwanda.

We were privileged to welcome Mr. @vaclav_prasil, Director for Sub-Saharan Africa at the @mzvcr, who highlighted the strengthening partnership between the Czech Republic and Rwanda. Ambassador Dr. Richard MASOZERA emphasized that peace remains Rwanda's greatest treasure and that Rwanda stands as proof that, through visionary leadership and the resilience and determination of its people, even the darkest moments can be overcome.

The event was highlighted by traditional dances by Rwandan cultural troupe.

We thank everyone who joined us in celebrating Rwanda's journey of resilience, unity and hope.
