“The Rohingya were never the beneficiaries of Bhasan Char. They were the pretext. If there is a lesson worth taking to New York conference rooms and donor capitals, it’s this: containment dressed up as compassion will always collapse - first morally, then practically,” writes @shafiur.

Targeting its own Sikh citizens with ballistic missiles is India's deep conspiracy against its minorities. Pakistan stands with the Sikh community in this difficult time. These cowardly acts are exposing India's true face to the world. What a shameful act!
This is shameful by Indian News Channels. Qari Mohammad Iqbal from poonch, India was killed yesterday in shelling from Pakistan is being portrayed as a 'terrorist' in multiple national Indian news channels.
All the Rohingya activists and the @NUGMyanmar must talk to the state level of the government of the Indian, to ensure the safety and the livelihoods of the most prosecuted minority in the world, Rohingya people.
THREAD 1/3
INDIA'S Supreme Court green light for deporting Rohingya refugees tramples on the basic rule of #nonrefoulement: never send people back where they face persecution. India once prided itself on sheltering the vulnerable. This decision betrays that history.
ARSA have consistently done more harm to Rohingya than they have to anyone else. They are funded by human trafficking, extortion and other criminal activities. More needs to be done to crack down on this revenue.
Thailand has granted protection to only SEVEN refugees despite having 90K+ in the country.
"Looking the other way when refugee children disappear is NOT the behavior of a rights-respecting government" - @matthewfsmith of @FortifyRights.

“Israel continues to inflict unimaginable suffering on the people living under its occupation, while rapidly expanding confiscation of land....What we are witnessing could very well be another Nakba,” warned a UN committee.

🚨Six Rohingya refugee children, trafficked from Myanmar’s Rakhine State, disappeared from a government-run shelter in Chiang Mai, Thailand, after being arrested by Thai authorities in December 2024.
The disappearance of the children, aged between 14 and 17, raises serious concerns about their safety, including the risk of human trafficking.
Thailand should ensure that all refugee children in the country have access to legal status and human rights-based alternatives to detention.
“Thai authorities should urgently take bold, transparent steps to ensure that all refugee children are protected,” said @matthewfsmith, CEO of @FortifyRights.

You should ensure the security of every Refugee living in the Camp. As far as we can see UNHCRBD are very late response in Cox's Bazaar Bangladesh Rohingya Refugee camp
We are saddened by a tragic incident in Camp 3 involving two refugee volunteers.
Sadly, one refugee volunteer died.
The other one was transferred to Cox’s Bazar Sadar hospital, where he is receiving care.
UNHCR is providing support to the families during such difficult times.
Due to lack of awareness and activities of respective INGOs and its partners, the traffickers are raised their ways to convince the people in the Rohingya Refugee camp, Bangladesh
The respective INGOs and its partner should be very careful of its activities and awareness in the Rohingya Refugee camp, As an observer I see very few activities of human trafficking awareness in the camp
