Facts:
1) Doctors should not be paid less than they were 10 years ago.
2) Doctors should not be paid less than their non medically qualified assistants.
Anything else is secondary!

We have also heard PA union UMAPS wrote to MPs that PAs should work at middle-grade level and have been trained for this.

I hope you now understand why this is complete nonsense.
Not only is it impossible to compress 10-15yrs into 2, PA course is just substandard

The GMC says it has no statutory duty to protect patients.

Without legal duty there is no incentive to protect patients.

The GMC is strangling doctors with regulation and facilitating their substitution with Physician Associates.

The GMC, your regulator, is creating the environment to deny you access to a doctor.
