Friday morning numicon hunt! This week we have been practicing our number bonds to 10 and we were set the challenge to find as many number pairs as possible in the science garden🔢We wrote our number sentences in chalk and pushed ourselves to find as many as possible #Ldbslat

Marimba class took turns to perform our ‘Poem of the Week’... a sailor went to sea🐠⚓️ Tomorrow we will be innovating the song to test our rhyming skills! #EYFS #ldbslat

Today we transported ourselves back to the Mayan age and made our very own xocolatl! We worked in groups, using cocoa powder, hot water, vanilla essence and even green chilli peppers! We whisked the mixture together and had a taste. It smelt delicious but tasted bitter 😯

Marimba class felt spiritual during our RE learning today✨ We discussed why Jesus was sent to the cross and reflected on forgiveness, Outside, we used chalk to draw and write things to be forgiven ... we then used water to wash them away to symbolise God forgiving us. #ldbslat
