@artchad lol just think if we used the talent to make roads better and cars more efficient and housing more affordable. But hey you need to link your calendars together we have an app for that.
Inflation will be lower in August and if the Iran sanctions get lifted it may be below two in September and UE will be higher and rates will be cut I assume in October emergency cuts right in time for midterms. Remember it was never about nukes if it was they would have done it right when the first term started it’s about interest rates
@StealthQE4 Greed is not good. When greed takes over you lose the soul and the heart. We have replaced we with me and when society breaks it shows its scars
I worked consulted for a portco of mid level PE company. Went out to eat with the chairman and CEO and VP sales. They were so confused on why the economy wasn’t booming cause they said every time we go out places are packed. I told them they are packed with people like you rich people what you don’t see is the guy severing out food this is his second job. Or the fact the factory you guys hired me to help improve 60% of the full time workers have to have two jobs to survive. I said this is unsustainable. They didn’t really respond almost as if they thought I was just talking about 100 people. I said you guys are going to see a shift in the socioeconomic layout of America very soon this whole economy is propped up by a few % of people and they don’t really see how bad it’s getting for the rest. Needless to say that company is almost belly up because of PE has ruined everything. Shareholder capitalism has killed innovation and wages all while filling the pockets of the rich. I really think we need to get a grip soon. Unfortunately I don’t know how to fix it
@barneyxbt I’m realizing the economy is totally fake it’s a fabrication of human thought. It does not really need to exist in the way it does. It is a fairly new thing
No, it's not communism. It's routine grid conservation advice during heat emergencies to avoid blackouts.
NYC emergency plans and Con Ed have long recommended setting AC no lower than 78°F. Republican Mayor Bloomberg did the same in 2006—he urged conservation, turned off City Hall AC, and shifted city facilities to generators. Giuliani also called for energy conservation on hot days to prevent brownouts.
Practical safety measure, not ideology.
