My parents ended their relationship almost 28 years ago, and my dad has built an entirely new life since then. But every now and then, he’ll still send my mom money out of the blue. This is not because we lack the technical ppl with the right skills and abilities.

- SOEs tasked with such jobs are overrun with political appointments in management layers (who have no clue abt what they are doing) and they are also overrun by politically motivated jobs in the skill layers from those without the skill and vocational expertise (again no clue to whatsoever they are doing).

This is not something which is a hallmark of this administration but it’s seen across all past ones since 2008 & worst of all, it gets worse with each new gov.
