Just a reminder to #Muslim countries cosying up with #India:

India is run by a man who was directly involved in #Gujarat massacre, killing around 2,000 Muslims. Today, the discrimination against Muslims continues and Muslims have been lynched in broad daylight, vilified, targeted and dehumanised by the government.

India is also an occupying nation. The situation in Indian occupied #Kashmir is grim. It's estimated that close to one million soldiers are patrolling the streets of Kashmir, which equals to 1 soldier per 7 Kashmiri. Since 1989, 100,000 Kashmiris have been killed by Indian forces and many more raped, tortured (torture is systematically used in the valley) and detained arbitrarily. In 2019, the Government of India revoked the special status, or autonomy, granted under Article 370 of the Indian Constitution to Jammu and Kashmir and sank the whole valley in a 5 month long communication blockade. Kashmiris couldn't communicate with the world, and India’s move to scrap article 370 was blurred by this cruel, enforced silence. To date, Kashmiris are occupied, oppressed and abused, while the world pays more attention to its trade (does it sound familiar?).
