Yesterday was a depot cross cover job, a double Bristol - Birmingham with me finishing the day with a taxi back to the Midlands at 11pm.

I got graced with 5 cars, an Avanti set and a call at Gloucester!

Quite a fun shift.

I'm still off route. This time at Cheadle Hulme primarily to see 207 in its new blue guise.

The last time I had this unit was in May last year out of the Ditch!

A variety of traction through Woodsmoor Level Crossing last night. It's funny to think all of these units used to work in the West Midlands and are now living a new life in the North.

A day out in the Pennines means paying a flying visit to Dinting.

I had a walk around the station and watched Northern 323225 do the triangle up to Glossop and Hadfield.

Engineering work today means fun and games!
Today's early turn consisted of me traveling up to York and working numerous trains back and forth between York and Leeds. Engineering works means that the line north of York is closed.
220007 is my chariot home.

Had an ex-Avanti voyager once again through to Bristol, back up to Birmingham on the same unit then a trip to and from Derby after.

Currently passing back on the cushions of a Turbostar!

Today was my first day on the trains after being off ill for 3 weeks.

What a way to start it by ticking off some rare platforms.

I had the joys of Platform 6 at Leeds and on the way back to Brum, we also passed through platform 4 at Derbedos.

Second shift of 2025 and I was greeted with one of the trains that I worked on my last shift of '24.

Disruption on the East Coast this morning meant that I had the joys of visiting York rather than Leeds. Bonus is that I had the same set to and from Birmingham.

Early start for me this morning. 0405 book on with me going down to Derby to work the first one southbound. I always like this job as I am on my break whilst everyone wakes up. I still have my Leeds and back to do!
