Correct me if I’m wrong but once the red wings scored with 7 seconds left that killed all chances for the flyers to make the playoffs because Detroit would go up at least 3 points on them. So the reasoning of pulling the goalie in a tie game wasn’t truly because they needed 1/2

A win to make it. You cannot tell me someone in the flyers locker room wasn’t watching the red wings game just like the red wings broadcast had the caps/flyers game on. The goals happened roughly a minute and a half in between each other.

@BauerOutage This is coming from a guy who was 19 when he underwent Tommy John and labrum surgery in the shoulder. It’s strictly from overuse and continued strain on the elbow. The human body isn’t made to throw overhand. Me being a 5’8 guy who threw 88-89 my body didn’t stand a chance…
