At some point, Tennessee fans have every right to be tired of being told to be patient. We’ve been patient. We’ve supported this program through some of the worst years imaginable, and we STILL show up every single Saturday.

We spend the money. We pack Neyland. We travel. We support this program through EVERYTHING. And time and time again, we’re the ones left disappointed.

At some point, the expectations have to change. Tennessee needs an administration and coaching staff willing to do whatever it takes to win in today’s college football.

There is ZERO excuse for Tennessee to be in a position where we’re starting a true freshman QB and then allowing him to get sacked 10 times. I don’t care how good the other team’s defensive line is. TEN sacks is unacceptable.

I like Heupel. I appreciate what he’s done to bring Tennessee football back from where it was. But eventually “better than we were” can’t be the standard.

This fanbase deserves a program committed to competing for championships. Period.
