@DoctorRach13 Don’t delete anything you write. Even if you (or somebody else) think it is useless, cut and paste it into another document - you never know when it might be useful.
Learn as much about stats as you can but befriend a statistician to help you do them properly when it matters

Find a good reference manager, a source of good coffee, and the person (there is always one) who knows where all of the things are and how they work
