@bootbirder I spoke to one of the rangers there this morning when doing an early WeBs count. Apparently it will stay high until at least September when the news works come online. After that the levels should fall but they are not sure by how much in the future.

First Brents of the autumn were 4 Dark-bellied flying west. A single Arctic Skua after a Kittiwake. At least 310 auks flying up channel quite a way out and then 91 Razorbills and 31 Guillemots back west also 27 C Scoter.

In excess of 20,000 swallow through in two hours. Small numbers when we first arrived, nothing of note, but from c.11:30 is was a constant stream of birds arriving from the WNW-NW, heading east...
