I'm confident I have a lot more experience in making things wet than you do.
and also apathy is a rational response for many marginalized people and not something to be demonized. like I’d rather be apathetic about getting counseling or getting a degree than be apathetic about the every day struggles or my communities so yeah idk,!
reminds me of the pressure to go to college like sure in an ideal world this concept is cool & if it works for you great but the pros don’t outweight the cons for everyone, it’s not always apathy
this whole “get therapy!” mindset is like cool to some extent but i feel like it just really ignores that therapy & psychiatry are still part of our *shitty* medical system, which by & large has no consideration for the needs of marginalized people & profits on our suffering
