nobody likes you when you're depressed. Plain & simple. we can talk all day about mental health and how important it is, but the moment u are depressed people start to distance themselves. They see you as negative, a burden and someone too heavy to handle.
strip the neuroscience away and the list is just: sing, chew, breathe, walk, jog, hug, cry. sometimes the research is a long way of rediscovering the body.
your brain will never believe you are capable of doing hard and great things until you repeatedly do hard things and survive the hard outcomes. this is how you train your brain and how neuroplasticity works.
