Just checking the hospital bill for a patient admitted for chest infection at a top hospital,(not naming anyone)

Cost of diagnostic tests
1. Complete blood count(CBC) -Rs 1000
2.Hba1c test-Rs 2000
3.Liver Function Test(LFT)-Rs 4600

These tests cost a fraction of this amount at any lab,

So overcharging by hospitals and corporate greed is a real thing,
Exploiting ill patients by profit minded hospital is a real thing,

Regulator and the Government should create guidelines for the costs of basic diagnostic tests!
