I can’t believe we’re SENIORS!! Crazy to think this time next year we’ll have our own classrooms!! So thankful to have this new space at @SamfordEd and these ladies by my side!! Here’s to never having a last first day of school!!
Looking forward to implementing these thinking strategies into my own classroom in the very near future! Thank you to @teacherstone for taking time to meet with us and for providing great resources and feedback!
Here’s the “Purple Power” chair we created from limited resources to hold 5 books. As @3xjoy was walking around she asked us “what would you ask for if I could give you one more material?” This is a great question to promote critical thinking and problem solving! @teacherstone
Today in class we used our Making Thinking Visible strategy “see, think, wonder” with our sink or float science experiment. Love using The Good Egg by Jory John to guide us! @IamJoryJohn@3xjoy@teacherstone
@ms_jrsmith did a great job leading a discussion about some of the Making Thinking Visible strategies. We used one of those strategies today by creating a see, think, wonder chart! So proud of my PLC members for all the hard work they put in!
@AP_GES_Taylor @kathycskinner@ms_tarwater@Benaye46 Here is a list of resources I compiled to share for continued learning about the #scienceofreading. Can you think of anything else I could add?

Thank you @MsSelfExEd for taking time to talk to us about Multi-sensory Language Instruction! I can’t wait to use the many resources you provided us with today!
Today we learned about how to unpack academic language demands! We created a foldable to help us remember functions, vocabulary, syntax, and discourse. @DanaMungenast
This past Monday, we began creating Pinterest boards for Phonemic Awareness activities. Thankful that there are so many resources out there for teachers to use! @Benaye46
