💗What a beautiful moment! #Ridglan is finally shuttering, the hundreds of remaining beagles to be set free! ❤️🔥Never doubt the power of direct action and activism.
The closure of Ridglan Farms proved that real change is possible when elected officials of BOTH political parties, passionate activists, and rescuers unite. Our shared mission continues: end federal funding for dog and cat experiments. Accelerate the transition to modern science
Today @USDA@SecRollins and I secured a major win for animal welfare.
Ridglan Farms will transfer its remaining 475 beagles out of a research breeding facility and into the care of a no-kill rescue, where they can begin the path to adoption.
Thank you, @LaraLeaTrump, for championing this issue.
We are also launching a new @NIH office, ORIVA, to speed the transition away from animal testing and toward modern, human-based science.
We will keep fighting for humane treatment of animals, better science, and accountability.
🚨 JUST NOW: Spencer Pratt exposes that Karen Bass is IGNORING the r*pe and abuse of dogs on Skid Row, and the city shelter system is "killing THOUSANDS OF DOGS"
"Even testing drugs on a dog is the LEAST of the worst of what these DEMONS are doing to these poor animals. Lighting them on fire, r*ping these dogs, abusing them. Breeding them to the point that they die."
"We have an LA city shelter system that is supposed to be no-kill, that's killing THOUSANDS of dogs. It's underfunded and the wrong people are running it."
This is utter madness! She NEEDS TO BE KICKED OUT OF OFFICE. @kayleighmcenany@SatAmericaFNC@spencerpratt
Florida has enacted one of the strongest animal protection laws in the nation. Convicted animal abusers are now permanently banned from adopting or purchasing any pets in the state.
Governor Ron DeSantis signed Dexter’s Law in May 2025, and it took effect on January 1, 2026. The legislation closes a dangerous loophole that previously allowed people convicted of animal cruelty to own pets again after serving their sentences.
The law is named after Dexter, a rescue dog who was tragically killed by his adopter — a case that exposed critical weaknesses in the system. To prevent future tragedies, the law also establishes a statewide registry of convicted animal abusers. Shelters, breeders, pet stores, and even members of the public can now check this database before placing an animal with a potential owner.
Offenders remain on the registry for up to ten years, giving organizations a powerful new tool to screen adopters and protect vulnerable animals.
I am fighting to end taxpayer-funded breeding and experimentation on dogs and cats. Full stop. No animal should suffer cruel, invasive testing, let alone at the expense of taxpayers. It’s time to maximize technology for a humane, science based alternative https://t.co/RIX0fC9bBE
There is nothing James wanted more than to be loved. He looks up at me like this all day, begging to be picked up or hugged.
And love was one of many basic needs James was NEVER given at Ridglan Farms. Instead he sat in a cage awaiting a cruel vivisector’s blade.
That changes now. That changes this election cycle. It’s time for every powerful CEO and politician to take a side:
Are you with the puppy abusers? Or the rescuers?
Growing anger towards animal testing is uniting people on the left & right of politics across the political spectrum
🔥 OP-ED: After years of court hearings, investigations, open rescues, and protests, the notorious beagle breeding and research facility Ridglan Farms has finally agreed to release 1,500 dogs to rescue organizations. This is certainly a win for animals, but the era of animal testing is far from over, particularly because the federal government enables it.

A nonprofit that helps abused dogs announces they are filing lawsuits against Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, LA Animal Services, the City of Los Angeles and the LAPD
They have submitted consistent evidence of “horrific” dog abuse on Skid Row
She says Democrats “They do not care”
“I've spoken in front of city council, I've offered solutions, tried to help the very, very best I can. Yeah. And they don't care. They have not responded to any solution that I've offered
— I got horrific videos of dogs in cages on Skid Row, and it has been my mission for the last three years to try to get dogs who are being abused on Skid Row removed. And they will not remove them. They will not enforce the law. Every single one of those people and every single one of those agencies refuses to remove the dogs”
California has both animal cruelty and neglect statutes the people on skid row are breaking not because the homeless are a protected class, no punishments ever gone to them
Democrats “Do not care” about this animal cruelty
Animal shelter security footage captured a scared dog with a large St Bernard.
I had a St Bernard and this is exactly how loving they are❣️
I’d adopt them both!
Este refugio para perros organizó una fiesta de pijamas en la que los voluntarios pudieron dormir con un perro en adopción.
Este es el tipo de lugar al que dedicaría mi tiempo y mi dinero♥️
