@mrs_mulford My students love to play Simon Says, choose videos from Go Noodle and do Just Dance videos from Youtube. I try to get them up and moving at least once an hour because our morning is extremely long and they get so antsy in their seats! #wuedt6020
@MrsWarren182 I have made a few Tik Tok videos to review material and shared it on schoology with the kids! They love seeing the social media symbol in the video and laugh at the trend I am trying to connect to our content. #wuedt6020
@JenniferSpeth I have used Jigspace in my classroom which is a great app that can make objects come to life in front of students! I also love using the google cardboard glasses to have the students use VR apps that connect with the curriculum! #wuedt6020
@JenniferSpeth@JenniferSpeth Yes! My kiddos love GoNoodle as well. On hybrid days that is definitely a highlight for the kids to get up and pick some interactive activities! #wuedt6020
@PleasantonSean Haha that's great! I want to try this with my kiddos! I use funny animal pictures on my Peardeck slides so the kids would love this as a brain break activity! #wuedt6020
@CarsonB58760111 Carson, I completely agree and suggested the same idea! Mastering one or two platforms is manageable and will give you confidence with technology! #wuedt6020
@ZTemple5 @McCoolWILMu I love how you mentioned to take time for yourself away from technology! We have technology at our fingertips and it can be intimidating seeing teachers using it and creating fabulous lessons when you feel like you are drowning! Great suggestion! #wuedt6020
@McCoolWILMu My advice to a teacher who is overwhelmed or is struggling with technology is to focus on one platform and learn as much as you can about it. There are so many different great platforms that can be overwhelming, so narrowing down to become an expert in one will help! #wued6020
@JenniferSpeth@ClassDojo I can relate to that challenge as well! When we take summative assessments I schedule students in small groups and have them keep their camera on while they take the assessment just to see if anyone is in the background. It has helped a little! #wuedt6020
@McCoolWILMu The biggest educational challenge during remote learning has been getting all students on zoom and participating. I have 2 students who I have seen maybe a handful of times without video on. Peardeck has been a great resource to allow live participation! #wuedt6020
@LatchToni@PleasantonSean@SarahQJ I like how you have the voice recorded feature being utilized for students who are late or do not attend class! Great way to make sure they are getting proper instruction! #wued6020
