Yesterday our team engaged in 'Weekend of Science'! Enthusiastic children (8 to 14 years old) performed an experiment with us to find out what bacteria like to eat the most. It was a great success and we want to thank the organisation for having us! @Wetenschap_NL #iGEM2018
As our team aims to develop a new system to detect medicine residues in water, we attended the RIVM Network Day themed “Medicine Residues in the Environment”. We consulted successfully with several experts on this matter in order to improve our project.
In the spirit of the iGEM competition, we engaged in a collaboration with @iGEMAachen, resulting in the iGEM Biotechnology Conference. Visitors from different cities and countries learned how new innovations could benefit society.
