@SBAgov@SBAIsabel Why did the SBA send me an invitation to apply for the targeted EIDL advance in April only to apply and be declined for not living in a low-income neighborhood? I'm a low-income independent contractor. Please reconsider how the targeted EIDL is disbursed.
@SBAIsabel The unfair Census map that qualifies small businesses for targeted EIDL loans has left many women of color in the dust just because of our zip codes.
@muymundial@SenatorCardin The map requirement is ridiculous. People way wealthier than me are getting $15,000 grants and because of my address, I am overlooked even though I am low income. It's ridiculous.
@terrial76242379 @SBAgov@SBAIsabel@TrySmallBiz Don't blame Biden. Blame all the scams that happened under Trump's watch that caused the SBA to tighten it's screening methods.
@GavinNewsom Gov. Newsom, is there any help for those of us who borrowed money from friends and family or took cash advances from credit cards to stay up to date with rents? I'm happy for everyone who will get rent relief, but yet again, people like me fall through the cracks again.
@SBAgov@SBAIsabel Many small business owners work from home. Many live in low-income apartments or rent-controlled properties in so-called high-income areas. Remove the targeted EIDL low-income area requirement and help those who are truly low-income. #SBA#EIDLadvance
@SBAgov@SBAIsabel Many businesses located in low-income neighborhoods are owned by wealthy people who live in high-income addresses. The Covid-19 pandemic affected most businesses regardless of what their addresses are. We need help. #SBA#EIDL

Rideshare drivers, for example, drive passengers from all sorts of neighborhoods. Workers like web designers and developers can work remotely from anywhere and their clients can be in any neighborhood. Times have changed.
@atlasgp @HeyLindaRey @TrySmallBiz@SBAIsabel@SBAgov Nothing pending, Yesterday, I spoke with an SBA agent who said I should ignore it because I had already submitted everything. She said they are waiting for my 2017, 2018, and 2019 tax returns from the IRS. At this point, I don't expect anything until next year.
@HeyLindaRey I hear you, but she applied and that's what she got. After I sent an amended tax return showing a missed $6000 earning, my loan increase amount was reduced by $4000. Supposedly, they said I should not have been approved for the initial EIDL loan amount of $13800. So confusing.
@HeyLindaRey I made $24,000 W2 income and $22000 in independent contracting, and I got $1992 for the first draw and the same for the second draw PPP. I was funded $13800 for EIDL last year and pending $7000 for the increase. I don't understand the SBA criteria.
@HeyLindaRey My friend made $50,000 in 2019. Only $2000 was from Independent contracting, the rest was W2 income. She got funded $10,000 PPP first draw and pending another $10,000 second. She applied for EIDL the first time this year and was offered $120,000.
@SBAIsabel Plus the SBA just reduced the amount I was offered even though I have a viable business. I think you should interview me to understand how all sorts of people fall through the cracks.
@SBAIsabel I'm a woman of color and yet, I'm overlooked because I found a place to live that is in the wrong zip code. Meanwhile, gentrifiers who live in high-income neighborhoods and can afford to snap up places in low-income areas are getting $15,000 grants. It's incredibly frustrating.
