animals + nature!! (some content shared may be distressing)

They said that they are keeping the horses cool in well vented stables and constantly pouring cold water with ice on them, so that’s good at least. However, horse racing is still cruel and should not be a thing in 2022 #RoyalAscot

[dominic dyer @domdyer70]

Shame on @hollywills & @Lauratobin1 & all celebrities & public figures & media who are celebrating a day out at #RoyalAscot without any consideration for welfare of horses being raced to death in a heat wave. This race meeting should have been cancelled @GMB @BBCNews @AnimalAid

[dominic dyer @domdyer70]

Come on Carrie how can you be an animal welfare campaigner & attend an event where horses are being raced in a 35 degrees heatwave with the real risk of heat exhaustion & death. This is not entertainment it’s cruel exploitation @LeagueACS @AnimalAid

Please retweet, spare a thought for horses being made to race today, when we are being advised it's too hot to walk our dogs!

Again, you can disagree with me if you want! Please be polite about it. I’m still doing research and my opinion might change in the future

[! 🐑 @iWILDLIFEi]

I really dislike extremist vegans. Some people kill animals to feed their family/tribe/village. Sometimes vegetables/fruit are scarce. As long as the animal does not have prolonged suffering or stress, I don’t see the problem 🤷‍♀️ I’m open to conversation about this btw!! #vegan

[! 🐑 @iWILDLIFEi]

The problem is when people get greedy and eat meat when they really don’t have to. Having burgers, hotdogs, sausages etc every week for no other reason but ‘just because I can’ for example. This is my personal opinion though. Also hunting animals where it isn’t necessary

@eoinmonkey @ChrisGPackham Oh okay! Thanks

We appear to have normalised the collapse of the Great Barrier Reef, 90% of whose parts have bleached this year. Or so the lack of horror and fury suggests. What else are we prepared to overlook, so that fossil fuel companies can keep making their billions?
