Another score for those calling for scenario planning and AI policy wargaming.

We can reduce **AI policy by surprise** by creating more opportunities for SF experts / DC insiders / communities leaders from across the country to jointly tackle novel legal and technical questions before they arrive.

Not a panacea but better than the status quo. Their results can lead to policy roadmaps, more structured debates, and new research agendas for scholars.

What's more, I think that there's a huge opportunity to academia and the next generation of state reps, US members of Congress, and tech CEOs involved in this effort. They have the strongest claim to the future and are among the more frequent users of the tech.
