If you’re still on stock Android…
Google silently installs SafetyCore (on-device sensitive content scanning)
and it reinstalls itself every time you try to remove it.
The community’s solution is simple and effective:
a placeholder APK with an absurdly high version number (2,000,000,000).
Once installed, Google can no longer overwrite it.
1. Uninstall SafetyCore
2. Install the placeholder
3. Keep control of your device

BBC literally built the greatest sound library on the internet.
It is called BBC Sound Effects, and it gives you access to more than 30,000 recordings from around the world.
Just search any word, and it instantly finds matching sounds.
You can filter them by category, duration, and even the continent where the sound was recorded.
Every sound can be previewed inside your browser, downloaded, or added to the built-in mixer so you can layer multiple recordings together.
And the archive gets insanely specific.
You can find creaking ships, old typewriters, jungle ambience, distant church congregations, and even someone vigorously washing their hands.
There is a good chance a BBC engineer recorded the exact sound you need decades before you were born.

BREAKING!
Samsung unveils Flex Titanium, a landmark breakthrough for foldable phones. Debuting with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series.
Samsung has officially introduced Flex Titanium, a next generation display technology that represents one of the biggest structural upgrades in the history of its foldable phones. Built on seven generations of foldable innovation, it will debut with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series, aiming to further reduce crease visibility while improving durability and the overall viewing experience without sacrificing thinness.
Unlike previous generations that primarily relied on hinge improvements, Flex Titanium fundamentally redesigns the internal structure of the foldable display. Samsung combines display engineering, materials science and mechanical engineering to create a new support system based on two titanium components.
The first is the Titanium Alloy Film, located beneath the OLED panel. It acts as the display's internal support layer and delivers 20 times greater mechanical stiffness than conventional polymer films. Using an ultra precision rolling process, Samsung reduced its thickness to roughly one third the diameter of a human hair, allowing the display to remain both incredibly thin and highly durable.
The second is the Titanium Plate, which sits beneath the display module and provides structural support. Samsung introduced a sophisticated micro patterned hole design in the folding area, allowing the titanium plate to flex during folding while maintaining exceptional strength. This structure also minimizes air gaps between the display module and the adhesive layer, creating more uniform stress distribution, improving support when unfolded, and further reducing crease visibility.
Samsung has also upgraded the display itself with a new high resolution display architecture and next generation OLED organic materials. These improvements enhance image quality while reducing power consumption, resulting in significantly higher overall power efficiency.
According to Samsung, Flex Titanium is not simply about making the crease less visible. Its goal is to achieve a new balance between thinness, strength, flexibility and long term durability. The company believes the future of foldable phones will increasingly be driven by innovations in display materials and structural engineering, rather than hinge design alone.
As the latest milestone built on seven generations of foldable development, Flex Titanium marks a major step forward in foldable display technology and sets the stage for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series to deliver substantial improvements in crease control, durability and display performance.

OpenClaw is now available on iOS and Android. 🦞📱
If you've been curious about AI agents, this is one of the most interesting projects to try.
OpenClaw isn't another AI chatbot. It's an open-source agent platform that lets you run AI agents and access them from anywhere through the new mobile apps.
Setup:
- Install OpenClaw on a Mac, Linux machine, Windows (via WSL2), or a cloud server.
- Complete the onboarding process to create your Gateway.
- Connect your preferred AI model using an API key.
- Pair the iOS or Android app with your Gateway by scanning a QR code.
Once connected, you can:
- Chat with your AI agents
- Run and manage agents remotely
- View channels, tasks, and replies
- Receive notifications
- Let agents access your phone's camera, microphone, location, Canvas, and other device features when you grant permission
OpenClaw doesn't include its own AI model. Instead, you can connect it to OpenAI (ChatGPT), Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, or run local models with Ollama.
A few things worth knowing:
- ChatGPT Plus and Claude subscriptions don't work here. You'll need OpenAI or Anthropic API keys if you want to use those models.
- If you don't want to pay for APIs, you can use Ollama with local models for a completely free setup, or use the free tiers offered by Gemini Flash and OpenRouter.
One important thing: the mobile app doesn't run your agents by itself. It connects to your OpenClaw Gateway.
If your Gateway is running on your computer, that computer needs to stay online. If you want 24/7 access, you can run the Gateway on a VPS, Raspberry Pi, NAS, Mac mini, or any always-on server instead.
The new mobile apps simply make it much easier to carry your AI agents with you, instead of being tied to your desk.
VPS list:
• Render (officially supported)
• Railway (officially supported)
• Northflank (officially supported)
• Coolify
• Dokploy
• Docker on any VPS
• AWS
• Google Cloud
• Microsoft Azure
• Oracle Cloud
• DigitalOcean
• Hetzner
• Vultr
• Linode (Akamai)
• OVHcloud
• Scaleway
